Every year, Coachella brings thousands of people to Indio, California. While most of the people are there to show off their latest fashion trends, listen to good music and soak up the sun rays, some people are there to cause havoc.
At this year’s event, the 36-year-old New York resident Reinaldo De Jesus Henao was caught stealing more than 100 cell phones during the festival.
Each year, pick pocketing has become worse and worse. When many people noticed their phone missing this year, many of them took to the “Find My Phone” app in which they found Henao wondering the grounds with stolen phones.
Henao was arrested at 5:50 PM on Friday. After being booked at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Center on suspicion of grand theft, Henao was released on $10,000 bail.
