Over the weekend, Italian techno titan Joseph Capriati played for an entire day—plus an hour and a half—at Miami’s Heart nightclub.
In a tweet, Capriati said he came to the club with the intention of playing a marathon set. But once he got going, he just didn’t stop, playing over 25 hours for a serious marathon set.
Well Miami, I came with the intention of a marathon set at Heart club last night, but I never expected to end playing for 25 HOURS and 30 minuets! That’s the longest set ever of my life, and would be difficult to repeat it as you can’t plan that, it just happens. Thank you ❤️

With his extra hour and a half, Capriati unofficially beats out fellow Italian selector Marco Carola, who spent 24 hours behind the decks at Sunwaves a few years ago. Though we emphasise it’s not a competition.
Hats off to Capriati. Let’s hope he’s in a big, comfortable chair right now with some pain killers and slippers. Well deserved.
